Job summary

Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the St. Louis, Missouri plants.

You will ensure production continuity, perform setup and preventive maintenance, and support external suppliers in a fast-paced, international environment. The role requires strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical/electronic skills, knowledge of plastic molding tech, and at least 3 years in maintenance.

Qualifications

• Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems.
• Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM/ SBM/ IM).
• Awareness of WCM standards in manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment rules.
• Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts.
• Minimum 3 years in a maintenance role within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production continuity through proper maintenance of machines, equipment and facilities.
• Install and set up machines and equipment (compressors, HVAC, dryers, leak tests, cameras, palletizers).
• Inspect machinery and facilities; replace worn parts and request spare parts or support as needed.
• Perform mechanical setup and regulation of mold sets.
• Carry out preventive maintenance per the maintenance plan.
• Execute emergency repairs to restore functionality after breakdowns.
• Support inspections, servicing, and maintenance by external vendors.
• Keep records of maintenance activities to track lifespan of equipment.
• Organize and manage workshop, repairs and fabrication of parts.
• Support Technical Manager on improvement projects for machines and processes.
