Job summary

Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, seeks a Senior Injection Molding Technologist for its St. Louis plant. Open to relocation to the United States, you will lead technical activities, set up recipes, and ensure process control to deliver high-quality PET preforms.

You will guide technologists, resolve production bottlenecks, and contribute to continuous improvements in a dynamic, international environment. Competitive salary and ongoing training offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of plastic Injection Molding technology and experience with Husky injection molding of PET preforms on high-cavitation molds.
• Strong applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems.
• Good knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques.
• Solid experience with WCM standards and industry processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a reference for Technologists and support the Technical Manager in setting priorities and addressing critical issues.
• Set up product recipes, ensure regulations and PLC parameters are applied.
• Adjust and monitor production variables to meet specifications.
• Conduct investigations to resolve quality issues and troubleshoot.
• Train and support production staff to resolve technical problems affecting quality.
• Install and set up machines/equipment (compressors, AC, dryers, testers, cameras, palletizers).
• Develop solutions by fabricating components to address production issues and improve machine performance.
• Support continuous improvement projects and decisions on machines, molds, and processes.

Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for a Senior Injection Molding Technologist to join its plant in St. Louis, Missouri, United States.

What will you do?

• Serve as a key point of reference for Technologists and support the Technical Manager in setting priorities, removing bottlenecks, and addressing critical issues.
• Set up product recipes, ensuring all required regulations and PLC parameters are correctly applied.
• Perform necessary mechanical and electronic adjustments and monitor production variables to ensure product specifications are met.
• Conduct investigations and troubleshooting to resolve quality issues.
• Train and support production staff in resolving minor technical problems affecting product quality.
• Carry out electromechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning systems, dryers, leak testers, cameras, palletizers, etc.).
• Develop solutions by fabricating mechanical or other components to address production or technical issues and improve machine performance.
• Support the Technical Manager in continuous improvement projects and in decisions regarding machines, equipment, molds, and processes.

What are we looking for?

• Excellentknowledge of plastic Injection Molding technology,with specific experience in Husky injection molding of PET preforms on high-cavitation molds (required).
• Excellentapplied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems.
• Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques.
• Good applied knowledge of WCM standards.
• Solid experience working with industry specific technologies and productive processes.
• Fluency in English.
• Available to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri, United States.

What do we offer?

• Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 gross annual salary. The job level and compensation will be determined based on objective criteria, including experience, skills, and role responsibilities. Candidates with higher salary expectations driven by a more senior profile or specialized expertise will also be considered.
