Hyundai MOBIS Alabama, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, read electrical schematics, and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues. You will work across pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, operate forklifts, and ensure safety with LOTO and PPE adherence.

Qualifikationen

• Support production by moving to higher maintenance areas.
• Record process data required by ADEM and OEM.
• Suggest improvements to PM and complete improvement projects.
• Operate plant equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, and cranes.
• Maintain an accurate list of required hand tools.
• Perform PM and CM on pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical Systems.
• Read electrical schematics to troubleshoot root causes.
• Repair damaged equipment and report spare parts log.
• Inspect equipment during production before PM and complete SAP work orders.
• Perform tasks in weekend/shutdown/holiday work plans.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and breakdowns.
• Complete downtime logs and trouble reports.
• Submit daily and weekly maintenance reports and check sheets.
• Implement countermeasures from Breakdown Maintenance Reports.
• Attend shift change meetings and share maintenance information.
• Communicate with production about maintenance issues.
• Report SAP work orders and schedule tasks to supervisor.
• Report equipment breakdown issues to supervisor.
• Maintain 3R5S and autonomous maintenance checks.
• Work safely with hazardous materials per ADEm and EPA rules.
• Participate in training for handling hazardous materials.
• Use PPE per OSHA and MAL standards.
• Follow Lockout-Tagout procedures and maintain LOTO equipment.
• Comply with safety rules and report hazards.
• Be physically present during all scheduled hours and work overtime/weekends as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

• List and report to supervisor/manager all abnormal equipment needed for repairs
• Support production needs by moving to areas with greater maintenance needs or to work on projects
• Record process data required by ADEM and OEM for applicable equipment
• Make suggestions for improvement of PM and complete improvement projects as assigned
• Operate plant equipment as needed, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead cranes
• Complete and maintain an accurate list of all required hand tools
• Perform PMand CMon pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Read electrical schematics to troubleshoot the root cause of electrical issues
• Make repairs to damaged objects and equipment, as well as complete and report spare parts log
• Inspect equipment during production before PM and complete PM according to SAP work orders
• Perform tasks outlined in weekend, shutdown, and holiday work plans
• Conduct troubleshooting for equipment problems and breakdowns
• Complete downtime log for each downtime eventand trouble reports
• Complete daily and weekly maintenance reports, check sheets, work orders, etc.; report results to supervisor/manager
• Complete countermeasures and improvementsasidentified on Breakdown Maintenance Reports
• Attend shift change meetings and share information regarding daily maintenance issues
• Communicate with production departments regarding maintenance issues
• Report results for SAP work orders, as well as weekend, shutdown, and holiday work plan tasks to supervisor
• Report on equipment breakdown issues tosupervisor
• Maintain organization and housekeeping inaccordance with 3R5S standards
• Complete and report to supervisor the results for daily 3R5S and autonomous maintenance check sheets
• Required to work with, handle, store, or otherwise manage hazardous materials, and must comply with all applicable regulations established by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
• Responsibilities include ensuring safe and compliant management of hazardous materialsin accordance withstate and federal regulatory requirements.
• May berequiredtoparticipatein training forhandling ofhazardous materials.
• Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to OSHA and MAL standards/maintenance procedures
• Follow all Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures when performing maintenance on machinery andmaintain all personal LOTO equipment
• Comply with all safety rules and guidance and report all recognized hazardsto supervisor/manager
• Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
• Overtime and weekend work as required
• All other job duties as assigned

Working Conditions :

• Position hours: 12 Hour Fixed Day or Night Shift, every other weekend off
• Schedule cycle consists of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• 90% of work on production floor, 10% in outdoor environment
