Sigma, Inc. is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for one of our clients, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Athens, GA. This 12-month contract role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to support equipment reliability, utilities maintenance, and system performance in a regulated manufacturing environment.
High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical.
Associate's or Technical Degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience in manufacturing (pharma preferred).
Hands-on experience in plant utilities and maintenance systems.
Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
Knowledge of boilers, steam systems, and compressed air systems.
Experience with centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, and chilled water systems.
Familiarity with RO/DI systems, HPW, and clean steam systems.
Working knowledge of generators and electrical systems.
Understanding of HVAC and cleanroom systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of EHS standards and compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage maintenance tasks efficiently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
