Qualifications

Maintenance Technician - Patchen Oaks Apartments

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Patchen Oaks Apartments, a 192-unit community located in Lexington, Kentucky. As a Maintenance Technician at Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for:

  • Trouble-shooting resident service issues including HVAC, general appliance work, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Ensuring the completion of all market-ready apartments, emergency and non-emergency service requests, various maintenance activities, and community inspections.
  • Responding to maintenance work orders and following up with residents and office staff.
  • Working with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that both the interior and exterior of the property meet company standards.

The ideal Maintenance Technician will have:

  • 1 or more years of related experience that demonstrates a broad knowledge of general maintenance.
  • HVAC certification, EPA Type I & II certification and/or CPO certification is a plus!
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • A valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with emergency on-call rotation as designated by the Property Manager.
