Job summary

Bucyrus Blades Inc. in Bucyrus, OH, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a part-time role (24 hours per week) with a 3 PM–11 PM shift. You’ll maintain production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and perform preventative maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years in industrial maintenance, and the ability to read schematics and use meters. OSHA LOTO knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in industrial equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with meters and schematics.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; OSHA Lockout/Tagout knowledge.

What you’ll do

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain production equipment to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient operations on a daily basis.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and restore functionality.
• Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance activities to proactively address potential issues and extend equipment lifespan.
• Installation & Modification: Install and modify equipment to meet evolving production needs and improve system capabilities.

Success Metrics

Success will be measured by equipment uptime, safety compliance, and the ability to quickly resolve maintenance issues.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment installation.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using meters and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including pipe fitting and OSHA Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using machine shop tools such as lathe, mill, and saw.
• Skills in welding and fabrication tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and equipment instructions.

Competitive Compensation

$28.00-$34.00 base hourly pay rate based on technical experience.
