Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Painter to preserve and enhance the appearance of a large aerospace manufacturing facility. The role focuses on painting, patching, drywall repairs, wall restoration, and maintaining a high-quality finish across interiors and exteriors.

Ideal candidates will have experience with surface preparation, basic carpentry, and strong organizational skills. You will perform preventive maintenance, follow safety regulations, and support facility

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying tasks.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift 50 lbs+.

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment.
  • Paint and patch, install furniture and cabinets, light carpentry.
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review work orders and estimate time/materials; manage completion.

CBRE is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician/Painter responsible for preserving and enhancing the appearance of facility interiors and exteriors through painting, patching, surface preparation, and general building upkeep. This role will focus heavily on paint and drywall repair, wall restoration, touch-ups, coatings, and maintaining a high-quality finish throughout the site. Ideal candidates will have strong paint and patch experience, knowledge of surface preparation techniques, basic carpentry and maintenance skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the physical capability to perform manual work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering a professional appearance while supporting overall facility maintenance needs.

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Paint and Patch, Furniture Assembly, Install Cabinets and Shelving, Light Carpentry
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
