Job summary

Marathon Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Coatesville, PA for a temp-to-hire position. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance on facility machinery to keep operations running smoothly across the plant.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with fabrication shop equipment, and strong oral and written communication skills. You must pass a background check and drug test; knowledge of 480V, 3-phase systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with machinery/equipment related to fabrication shop operations.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple projects/tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel helpful.
• Certified Electrician with ability and knowledge to work on 480V, 3 Phase.
• Must pass a background check and drug test!

Responsibilities

• Insures that all machinery in facility is in good working order, performs repairs as needed
• Completes daily, weekly and monthly PMs
• Responsible for repair and maintain of forklifts and maintaining daily maintenance logs.
• Assists with all HazMat storage and labeling process to insure proper removal
• Sharpens tools and dies
• Takes care of the overall appearance of the facility/yard
• Installs and updates on signage on property
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Responsible for the organization and proper storage of company owned tools

Marathon Staffing is seeking hard-working, reliable candidates for temp-to-hire, Maintenance Mechanic position available immediately in Coatesville, PA!!

Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for all building and equipment repairs and maintenance. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Insures that all machinery in facility is in good working order, performs repairs as needed 30%
• Completes daily, weekly and monthly PM’s 15%
• Responsible for repair and maintain of forklifts and maintaining daily maintenance logs. 10%
• Assists with all HazMat storage and labeling process to insure proper removal 10%
• Sharpens tools and dies 10%
• Takes care of the overall appearance of the facility/yard 10%
• Installs and updates on signage on property (5%)
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned 5%
• Responsible for the organization and proper storage of company owned tools 5%

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Familiar with machinery/equipment related to fabrication shop operations
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Must be able to prioritize multiple projects/tasks while meeting all scheduled deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel helpful
• Certified Electrician with ability and knowledge to work on 480V, 3 Phase
• Must pass a background check and drug test!

Hours are 6:00AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday; however, overtime is required.

Pay range starts at $28 per hour, depending on experience.
