Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of building systems across small to mid-sized facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair to keep operations running smoothly.

This role supports the Engineering and Technical Services team with routine inspections, energy management, and compliance with codes and safety regulations. The position runs Sun-Thurs, 10:00pm to 6:30am, under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems and equipment across small to mid-sized facilities. Working within the Engineering and Technical Services team, you will deliver high-quality preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair support to keep operations running at peak performance.

Sun-Thurs :10:00pm-6:30am

What You'll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
