Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance requests, including drywall, painting, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs promptly
- Occasional on-call work, including weekends and special events
- Prepare vacant units for rent, perform repairs, and update work order statuses
- Handle plumbing issues, including replacing fixtures and repairing appliances
- Maintain grounds, including trash pickup, sweeping, pressure washing, and landscaping
- Follow safety standards per OSHA and company policies, reporting issues immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience, including DIY projects
- HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications are a plus
- Basic math and English literacy skills for reading diagrams and writing reports
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with others and maintain confidentiality
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Willing to work overtime, on-call, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Driver's License, insurance, and reliable transportation
