Job summary
Zenni Optical seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician in Obetz, Ohio. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair optical manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and support production goals. The role requires problem-solving, teamwork, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Shift is Monday–Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with potential overtime including weekends. Compensation ranges from $28 to $30 per hour, depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of PLC ladder logic for troubleshooting (programming not required).
- Familiarity with robotics PLC control and legacy relay logic systems.
- Experience operating around scissor lifts and forklifts.
- Ability to use a multimeter for voltage, resistance, and capacity; safe around 480V.
- Proficiency with maintenance tracking software and communication tools.
- Use of MCCS system to perform and document daily tasks.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair a wide range of optical manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Install and troubleshoot in-line manufacturing equipment for optimal performance.
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs using electronics testing tools and documentation.
- Inspect and service production equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
