Job summary

Manitou Group in Madison, South Dakota seeks a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance orders, preventative maintenance, and projects across facilities, machines and processes. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and runs Monday–Friday 7a-3:30p, onsite.

Candidates should have 1–5 years of relevant experience, an associate degree or equivalent industrial maintenance training, and the ability to work safely with chemicals and perform continuous improvement tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Associates degree or equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field.
• Ability to manage maintenance projects and solve problems.
• On-site role based in Madison, SD with adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance orders and preventative maintenance.
• Support maintenance repairs, projects, and predictive maintenance.
• Lead maintenance projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with DENR and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate equipment used for maintenance and support continuous improvement.
