Job summary

Latham Pool Products, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of fiberglass manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, maintaining records, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read technical documents and work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., work above head, bend, read and write.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, pneumatic systems, mechanical systems, and auxiliary production equipment.
• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of equipment and building, including chopper guns, fluid sections, air motors, pumps, and related components.
• Inspect booms, filter log and hoist.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to restore production operations safely and efficiently.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain maintenance records and logs.
• Ensure activities are completed according to schedules.
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Ensure lockout/tagout and safety systems function properly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
