Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Service Technician for Banyan on Washington in Phoenix, AZ. You will handle maintenance repairs, make-ready units, and contribute to keeping our communities running smoothly while delivering five-star service.

The role requires knowledge across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and pool maintenance, with OSHA compliance. On-call shifts include a $3/hour incentive and certification pay opportunities.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of building systems incl. plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and OSHA standards.
• Basic computer skills and service orientation.
• Experience as an apartment turn/make-ready/ Work order technician is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on vacant units and ensure safety.
• Maintain pool care and chemical balance; safety compliance.
• Inspect for hazards and communicate with Facilities Manager.
• Share on-call duties and respond in uniform when needed.
• Monitor inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
