Job summary

Dungarvin in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure preventive, corrective, and renovative maintenance across residential homes, grounds, and vehicles. This role requires coordinating fleet repairs, securing external vendors, and maintaining tools and documentation.

The position includes on-call evenings/weekends, competitive starting pay, and a benefits package with 401(k) match, health/dental/vision insurance, and PTO options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years experience in building maintenance including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repair.
• Must possess ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
• Must have good decision-making and communication skills, be responsible, mature, flexible, and able to work independently and as a team member.
• Appropriate transportation and basic tools required.
• Ability to be on call in evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residential homes, grounds, and property are well maintained and in good repair at all times.
• Participate in general maintenance planning and capital improvements planning.
• Coordinate the maintenance and repair of Dungarvin's fleet of vehicles.
• Coordinate and secure external vendors for skilled maintenance repairs.
• Ensure an organized, responsible, and controlled manner of acquiring and maintaining all tools, equipment and keys belonging to the organization.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is completed and maintained for all repairs.
