Job summary

KPM Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Baytown, TX to uphold the quality and safety of our residential communities. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep units and facilities in excellent working order, delivering timely and effective solutions for residents.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic trade skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, plus a valid driver's license and on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of common residential systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs and maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Address resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist with unit turnover and maintenance preparation for new residents.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify and rectify potential maintenance issues.
• Keep maintenance tools and inventory organized and well-stocked.
• Collaborate with property management to prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and industry regulations at all times.
