Job summary

The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time position in Overland Park, Kansas, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00, with after-training on-call rotation. Starting pay is $25.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience and EPA certification.

You will maintain the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repair, prepare vacant units, and ensure safety and resident appeal; training is provided if you need

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or related vocational training or experience.
• Proficient customer service and interpersonal communication for residents and teammates.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Knowledgeable in safe use of hand tools, power tools and basic measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Proactively inspect buildings, grounds and facilities for safety, upkeep and curb appeal and perform maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for lease and new move-ins.
