Job summary

jobr.pro is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to ensure maintenance and repair standards are met for facilities and apartments. You will perform various maintenance tasks, embodying the Olympus Property values of teamwork and customer care.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, holds an EPA/HVAC license, and is available for emergency calls. Benefits include medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and educational assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in commercial, residential, or apartments.
• Available full-time Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 6 PM, with emergency availability.
• Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests including HVAC maintenance and plumbing repairs.
• Repair and replace kitchen appliances and electrical fixtures.
• Maintain the grounds and common areas of the property.

The Maintenance Technician will work alongside the service team and office teams to ensure that all the repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment homes meet or exceed standards.

Your Purpose & General Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace furnished kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, ovens, and microwaves
• Minor to moderate-level plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Lock changes, lockouts, and replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems
• Operate various equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Upkeep and organization of maintenance shop and inventory
• Track service requests and maintenance work performed through software systems
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools
• Work closely with Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities
• Available as needed for emergency maintenance requests

Essential Needs for Olympus Alameda:

• Available Full-time, Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 6 PM (hours may vary slightly)
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment Maintenance experience
• EPA/HVAC license
• CPO certification required
• Available for emergencies as needed
