Job summary

Olympus Property is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our service team. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on property facilities and apartment homes, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or an EPA/HVAC license.
• Available full-time, Monday – Friday 9 AM – 6 PM (hours may vary).
• Willingness to respond to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units; replacing filters and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers/dryers, ovens, and microwaves
• Perform minor to moderate plumbing repairs and installations
• Repair or replace sinks, showers, toilets and fixtures
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Handle lock changes and door hardware; manage lock systems
• Operate hand and power tools; maintain maintenance shop and inventory
• Track service requests and maintenance work in software systems
• Assist in groundskeeping, common areas, and pool areas
• Collaborate with Lead Maintenance Technician on priorities; respond to emergencies as needed

The Maintenance Technician will work alongside the service team and office teams to ensure that all the repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment homes meet or exceeds standards.

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace furnished kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, ovens, and microwaves
• Minor to moderate-level plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Lock changes, lockouts, and replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems
• Operate various equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Upkeep and organization of maintenance shop and inventory
• Track service requests and maintenance work performed through software systems
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools
• Work closely with Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities
• Available as needed for emergency maintenance requests

Essential Needs for Cielo:

• Available Full-time, Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 6 PM (hours may vary slightly)
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment Maintenance experience

Initial pay range (based on location, experience, etc.): $24 - $25/per hour
