Job summary

Olympus Property is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Olympus Alameda in Albuquerque, NM. The role collaborates with service and office teams to ensure repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartments meet high standards.

Responsibilities include plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repairs, HVAC preventative maintenance, and assignments from the Lead Maintenance Technician. Offers full-time hours, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA/HVAC license required.
• CPO certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units and related systems.
• Repair and replace kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, ovens, and microwaves.
• Conduct minor to moderate plumbing repairs and installation.
• Repair or replace sinks, showers, toilets, fixtures, and electrical fixtures.

The Maintenance Technician will work alongside the service team and office teams to ensure that all the repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment homes meet or exceed standards.

Your Purpose & General Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace furnished kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, ovens, and microwaves
• Minor to moderate-level plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Lock changes, lockouts, and replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems
• Operate various equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Upkeep and organization of maintenance shop and inventory
• Track service requests and maintenance work performed through software systems
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools
• Work closely with Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities
• Available as needed for emergency maintenance requests

Essential Needs for Olympus Alameda:

• Available Full-time, Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 6 PM (hours may vary slightly)
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment Maintenance experience
• EPA/HVAC license
• CPO certification required
• Available for emergencies as needed
