Maintenance Technician_Northland - 2nd Shift

Role: Maintenance Technician - Food Manufacturing

Pay Rate: $28-$33/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift/Night (1:00 pm – 11:00 pm)

Schedule: 10-hour shifts (4-3) including weekends

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45246

Benefits: $500 sign-on bonus + $4,000 regional relocation bonus

The sign-on bonus is paid after 91 days of employment. The regional relocation bonus is paid in two lump sums: 50% after 30 days, and 50% after 91 days. To retain the relocation bonus, you must remain employed for 12 months.

All compensation is subject to applicable taxes.

Job Summary

We are an SQF-certified food manufacturing facility looking for a qualified Maintenance Technician to support preventive maintenance, repairs, equipment updates, and installations, ensuring safety, GMPs, and food safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety, environmental policies, and GMPs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Wear PPE and adhere to GMPs indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing (food processing experience preferred).
• Strong pneumatic, mechanical, electrical skills; experience with PLCs and VFDs.
• Welding ability.
• Strong work ethic, attendance, and integrity.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good troubleshooting and electrical skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.

Physical Requirements

• Excellent hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -10°F to above-normal heat.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally above shoulder height.
• Work in environments with dust, flashing lights, sirens, horns, and moving equipment.
