Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general property maintenance across on-site facilities. You will handle routine repairs, coordinate third-party vendors, and ensure safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and have a “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to meet or exceed attendance standards.
• Ability to use common tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED.
• Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor electrical maintenance.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to perform HVAC filter changes.
• Performs general construction such as painting, carpentry in connection with smaller tenant improvement projects, or general maintenance of property.
• Performs janitorial maintenance which may include cleaning rooms, common hallways, common restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots and other work areas, as well as trash removal throughout the property.
• Performs grounds work / landscaping.
• Snow removal.
• Assist with third party vendor access and coordination.
• May be required to respond to emergency maintenance situations.
• May be required to be on call after-hours for emergency or snow removal efforts.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Follows all safety and OSHA related policies.
