KMG Prestige is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Detroit, MI to ensure high-quality maintenance and timely service requests, improving resident satisfaction. The role emphasizes attention to detail and pride in workmanship across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliance repair tasks.

The technician will support apartment turns, handle routine upkeep, and be available for emergency on-call to protect property value and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Basic HVAC knowledge for routine upkeep and troubleshooting.
• EPA Certification required or in progress for maintenance tasks.
• Painting experience to refresh unit interiors and common areas.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and drywall repairs.
• Appliance repair skills for kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Knowledge of basic residential repairs and safety standards.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Availability for emergency on-call support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property, perform preventive maintenance, and handle service requests.
• Assist with apartment turns and unit readiness between residents.
• Respond to emergency on-call maintenance incidents and resolve issues promptly.
