Location Description

Responsibilities

• Perform process and production maintenance throughout the facility, including equipment breakdowns, installation, startups, process improvements, preventative/precision maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
• Respond efficiently to urgent production needs related to equipment.
• Read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and specifications to disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment.
• Replace belts, sheaves, chains, sprockets, bearings, and perform tensioning and alignment tasks.
• Utilize CMMS to support maintenance activities, including review, execution, and documentation of work.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical power transmission equipment, gearboxes, drives, and motors.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, and lubrication devices.
• Understand heat exchanger principles and use mechanical and electrical tools safely.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and food safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial or plant operations, maintenance, utilities, or related fields.
• Good communication skills and basic math proficiency.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Training in OSHA 10 Hour, Arc Flash, LOTO, electrical systems, and fall protection.
• Experience with HAZMAT standards and food manufacturing.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to talk, hear, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. The environment can be noisy and temperature varies from hot to cold. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

The pay range for this position is $31.50 to $32.14 per hour.
