Qualifications

  • Inspect, rebuild, calibrate, and adjust equipment to OEM specs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems.
  • Perform NEC-compliant electrical installations and repairs.
  • Utilize testing equipment (voltmeters, meggers, ohm meters) for diagnostics.
  • Document maintenance in the CMMS and conduct root cause analyses.

Maintenance Technician

Shift: B Shift | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM on a rotating AWS schedule (2-2-3)

Pay Rate: $32.95/hour + $1.00 Shift Differential

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As an Electro-Mechanic Technician , you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems will help maximize uptime, support production goals, maintain food safety and quality standards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

You will help keep our operations running at peak performance while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

WHAT YOU WILL DO…
  • Maintain, install, repair, troubleshoot, and improve facility and production equipment.
  • Support production operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability.
  • Complete assigned preventive maintenance (PM) activities and corrective repairs.
  • Perform equipment inspections, rebuilds, calibrations, and adjustments to maintain OEM specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems using schematics, ladder logic, and technical documentation.
  • Perform electrical installations and repairs in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment including voltmeters, meggers, and ohm meters.
  • Execute and document planned and unplanned maintenance activities within the CMMS system.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), breakdown failure analysis (BDA), and other problem-solving methodologies to identify and prevent recurring equipment failures.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasound, and oil analysis to proactively address equipment issues.
  • Perform maintenance activities on utility systems that support plant operations, including heat, steam, air, gas, and electrical systems.
  • Support autonomous maintenance initiatives by educating operations teams on equipment care practices including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication (CIL).
  • Maintain compliance with safety programs including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, Hot Work Permits, and all plant safety procedures.
  • Follow all applicable GMP, food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Participate in training, seminars, and skill development opportunities to stay current with industry advancements.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to continuously improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
  • Support maintenance activities across production lines, prep areas, warehouses, chillers, CIP systems, fire and safety systems, and building/facility infrastructure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
  • Working knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, and relay logic.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including:
    • Blueprints
    • Electrical schematics
    • Single-line electrical drawings
    • P&IDs
    • Mechanical drawings
    • Pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams
    • OEM manuals
  • Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with computers and maintenance software systems.
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and results orientation.
  • Ability to work all shifts, weekends, and some holidays as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including standing, walking, climbing, and balancing for extended periods.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift certifications.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Electronics certification or equivalent technical training.
  • Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Allen-Bradley PLC experience.
  • Wonderware experience.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical certifications or licenses.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
  • Experience utilizing CMMS systems for maintenance planning and documentation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions, including dust, noise, heat, and cold.
TRAVEL
  • Minimal travel may be required.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
