Summary:

This position performs process and production maintenance throughout the facility. Responsibilities include equipment breakdowns, installation, startups, process improvements, preventative/precision maintenance programs, and continuous improvement activities such as increasing machine reliability and installing facility capital investments.

Candidates must be self-starters willing to accept maintenance process responsibility and KPI results.

Schedule: 6pm-6am 2-2-3

$2,000 Sign-on bonus

Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond efficiently and effectively to urgent production needs related to equipment.
• Read and understand diagrams, manuals, and specifications to disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment.
• Replace belts, sheaves, chains, sprockets, bearings, and perform tension and alignment tasks.
• Understand and apply knowledge of fasteners, thread types, and applications.
• Utilize CMMS to support maintenance functions, including review, execution, and documentation of work.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical power transmission equipment, gearboxes, drives, and motors.
• Understand hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, and lubrication devices.
• Work with heat exchangers, mechanical tools, and electrical troubleshooting tools.
• Perform pipe fitting, insulating, and rigging tasks.
• Adhere to safety policies, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years in industrial operations, maintenance, or related fields
• Excellent communication and basic math skills

PREFERRED Education and Experience:

• Training in OSHA 10, Arc Flash, LOTO, electrical systems, fall protection
• Experience with HAZMAT standards and food manufacturing

Physical Requirements:

Must talk, hear, stand, walk, occasionally sit, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and lift up to 60 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Exposure to noisy, hot, and cold environments. The pay range for this position is $31.50 to $32.14 per hour.
