Qualifications

• Technical Diploma (± 12 years) with 1+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, etc.).
• Ability to read schematics, wire diagrams, and use precision tools.
• Welding and fabrication experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment running: repair and troubleshoot high-speed production equipment and plant utility systems.
• Electrical expertise: install/repair motors, wiring, fuses; troubleshoot AC drives and PLCs.
• Precision maintenance: replace seals, bearings, gears, belts; calibrate sensors and motors.
• Fabrication & welding: weld stainless/carbon steel and aluminum; fabricate guards/parts.
• Predictive maintenance: use thermography, ultrasonic testing, and vibration analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering/operations to improve processes and operator care.
• Ensure safety/compliance per GMP, FDA, OSHA, and 5S standards.

What You’ll Work On

• Keep Equipment Running: Perform repairs and troubleshoot high-speed production equipment and plant utility systems, including dryers, fillers, case packers, palletizers, sleevers, and labelers.
• Electrical Expertise: Install and repair electric motors, wiring, fuses, and motor protection systems; troubleshoot AC drive systems and PLCs using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Precision Maintenance: Replace seals, bearings, gears, belts, and other components; perform calibrations and preventive maintenance on sensors, motors, and control devices.
• Fabrication & Welding: Weld stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum; fabricate guards and parts using lathes, mills, and plasma cutters.
• Predictive Maintenance: Use advanced tools like thermography, ultrasonic testing, and vibration analysis to prevent failures.
• Collaborate & Improve: Work with engineering and operations to implement design changes and improve operator care initiatives.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow GMP, FDA, USDA, OSHA, and company safety standards, including LOTO and 5S protocols.

Position Details

Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) Schedule: Enjoy every other weekend off with a consistent 4-week rotation: Sample Rotation: Week 1: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs) Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs) Week 3: Same as Week 1 Week 4: Same as Week 2 This schedule offers stability and work-life balance while providing opportunities for overtime. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

The base pay for this position is $20.85 – $41.75/hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
