Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician focused on mechanical and electrical performance of automated production machines used in glass manufacturing.

You will be a hands-on team member reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep high-quality glass production on schedule. Training is provided and shift hours follow a 7:30 pm to 4:30 am schedule after training.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience on high-speed production machinery (electrical & mechanical).
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLCs/drivers and motors.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of automated production machines or equipment in glass production.
• Maintain and observe operation of machines to ensure high-quality glass output.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance to increase run time between failures.
• Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.

The Night shift Maintenance Technician is focused on mechanical/electrical performance of automated production machines and reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who hands on, responsible, with great communication skills. A vital member of the Maintenance Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include

• Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more function in glass.
• Maintain and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality glass.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment in a safe and efficient manner and make repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks in order to increase equipment run time between failures.
• Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.

What We Are Looking For

• Must have experienced skills and knowledge with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and operation of high-speed production machinery both electrical and mechanical.
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLC’s/Driver and motors.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Training:1 month of training 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

Scheduled Shift After Training: 7:30 pm to 4:30 am Monday-Friday
