Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Champaign, IL is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a climate-controlled, well-organized facility.

You will work with state-of-the-art equipment, performing preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing systems on a 2-2-3 rotating night schedule (6:45pm-7:15am). The role offers pay from $25 to $32+ per hour, with a $1.00 night-shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience maintaining manufacturing machines & equipment.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shift (6:45pm–7:15am) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical working knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving ability.
• Ability to read & interpret manuals, blueprints & schematics.

Pay: Earn $25 - $32+ per hour

• $25 - $32 per hour, based on skills & experience
• Shift differential of $1.00 per hour more for night shift

What You Need

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 3 or more years of experience maintaining manufacturing machines & equipment (engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, etc.).
• Ability to work 12 hour night shift (6:45pm-7:15am) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical working knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving ability
• Ability to read & interpret technical & operational documents (manuals, blueprints, schematics)
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
