Maintenance Technician - NIGHT Shift

Job summary

Isupark is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs on all assigned equipment at our Fort Dodge facility. The role leads repairs during plant breakdowns, adheres to safety procedures, and keeps detailed repair records.

The candidate will work with contractors, audit their work, and perform high-tech predictive maintenance using thermographic and ultrasonic tools. The position may involve 1–2 days per week of plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in heavy industrial maintenance.
• Experience in aggregates processing preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to build trust without relying on authority.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs on all assigned equipment.
• Lead repairs during unplanned plant breakdowns.
• Alert supervisor to safety, environmental, or mechanical issues that should be addressed immediately or scheduled at the next available opportunity.
• Comply with health and safety practices and procedures.
• Provide detailed statuses of completed or on-going repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Assist contractors with repair instructions, PM documentation and parts to properly execute work.
• Assist maintenance supervisor in auditing the work done by contractors.
• Perform high tech predictive maintenance utilizing tools such as the thermographic camera and ultrasonic tester.
• Clean and organize work areas after PMs and repairs are completed. Support operations team in keeping an overall clean and organized plant.
• Execute and ensure information in repair report is accurate, including root causes and parts usage.
• Responsible for the maintenance of all mobile equipment.
• Responsible for the care and safe usage of the large vacuum trailer and any other complex pieces of maintenance/cleaning equipment.
• May be responsible 1-2 days per week for operating the plant.

Alerts supervisor of any safety, environmental, or mechanical efficiency issues that should be addressed immediately or scheduled at the next available opportunity.

Requirements

Education and Experience
