Job description

Warren Oil Company is now accepting Maintenance Technician applications for immediate hire. In this role, you will perform repairs on all plant equipment and provide ongoing maintenance of the facility. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and diagnose potential problems.
  2. Read work orders and specifications to identify machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
  3. Responsible for the repair, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities.
  4. Inspect or test damaged machine parts, mark defective areas, or advise supervisors of repair needs.
  5. Coordinate with coworkers to facilitate installations or repairs.
  6. Improve equipment and process reliability.
  7. Develop or improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Mechanical and electrical skills
  • Willingness to support all line operations to maximize equipment availability and efficiency
  • Adherence to internal and OSHA guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanical: Knowledge of machines, tools, design, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Mathematics: Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
  • Design: Ability to produce technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Engineering and Technology: Practical application of engineering science and technology in production.
  • Ability to perform periodic tests on electrical equipment to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Ability to dismantle and reassemble machines using appropriate tools and equipment.
