Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate in Atlanta, GA. The role supports building operations, ensuring mechanical systems and common areas are well-maintained and disinfected, with a focus on safety and reliable service.

The position involves floor inspections, general repairs, and the use of various trades to keep the property in peak condition. The ideal candidate has CPO certification and 2–3 years pool experience, and must be able to work weekends as needed.

Proven maintenance and repair skills across general trades.

Responsibilities

Performs routine walking inspections of floors to identify problems and report them.
Maintains and uses tools and equipment in good condition.
Performs maintenance repairs in common areas (drywall, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring).
Ensures safety procedures are followed during all tasks.
Performs light labor as directed by supervisors (moving items).
Executes maintenance replacement and repairs without required permits where applicable.
Learns to operate new equipment safely.
Performs other duties as needed.
