Maintenance Technician – Multi-Site & Projects

Job summary

Arrowhead Engineered Products, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Associate to maintain and repair buildings, machinery, and systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and conveyors. You will receive work orders and coordinate maintenance with Operations.

Responsibilities include performing minor repairs, sourcing cost estimates, training new staff, and traveling to other facilities as needed. An industrial truck certification and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or one-year minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain an industrial truck certification.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate and/or operate snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical systems, air compressors, heating and cooling units, including replacing worn or defective parts such as filters, switches and fuses.
• Complete minor repairs and replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment.
• Contact and obtain cost estimates from external contractors.
• Assist other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
• Coordinate all maintenance requests of internal customers to be completed in a timely manner.
• Update Operations Manager on concerns, issues, and status of maintenance department.
• Adhere to departmental budget and goals set by management.
• Coordinate industrial truck training.
• Develop drawing/layouts for projects given by Operations Manager or Director of Operations.
• Assist with coordinating outside facilities projects (ex. moving warehouses)
• Train incoming Maintenance Associates.
• Travel to other facilities to assist with projects, when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
