Job summary

Forefront Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and corrective maintenance to keep the facility safe, functional, and compliant within a healthcare client site. Reports to Operations Coordinator/Custodial Manager and/or Director of Facilities.

The role is hourly, full-time with varied hours including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call. Pay rate $23.00/hr. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and professional interaction with client staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance tasks
• Perform routine repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Assist with inspections, safety checks, and fire/life safety compliance activities
• Support equipment moves, minor installations, and facility improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed tasks
• Follow all safety protocols and Forefront standards
• Interact professionally with client staff and report issues to the Lead or Manager
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs routine and corrective maintenance to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. This role supports building operations through preventive maintenance, work order completion, and general repairs while representing Forefront in a professional manner within the client facility.Reports to: Operations Coordinator/Custodial Manager and/or Director of Facilities

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• This is an hourly position. Expected hours may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, on-call, and emergency response as needed.
• Pay Rate - $23.00/hr

General Responsibility as Required for Position

• Responsible for acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA. Responsible for acting in conformance with accrediting agency standards.
• Attends department meetings as required.
• Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certification/licenses, if applicable.
• Completes mandatory training and competencies annually.
