Job summary

Olympus Property is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our service team in Phoenix. You will ensure repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment homes meet high standards, working with the office and service teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience (commercial, residential, or apartment).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems or EPA/HVAC license preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• On-call, weekends, and possible overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters and cleaning coils.
• Repair and replace appliances and fixtures (refrigerators, stoves, washers/dryers, ovens, microwaves).
• Handle minor to moderate plumbing repairs and electrical fixtures.
• Track service requests and maintenance work in software systems.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist Lead Maintenance Technician with priorities.

The Maintenance Technician will work alongside the service team and office teams to ensure that all the repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment homes meet or exceed standards.

YOUR PURPOSE & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace furnished kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, ovens, and microwaves
• Minor to moderate-level plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Lock changes, lockouts, and replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems
• Operate various equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Upkeep and organization of maintenance shop and inventory
• Track service requests and maintenance work performed through software systems
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools
• Work closely with Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities
• Available as needed for emergency maintenance requests

ESSENTIAL NEEDS FOR MONTE VIEJO:

• Available Full-time, Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 6 PM (hours may vary slightly)
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment Maintenance experience
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or an EPA/HVAC license
• Must be available for on call and weekends and over time when needed
• Ability to work independently & with a team

Initial pay range (based on location, experience, etc.): $20.00 - $22.00/per hour

Eligible team members receive monthly and quarterly bonuses!
