Job summary

Husqvarna is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operations team. The role focuses on equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement with a hands-on, collaborative approach.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, coordinate with the supervisor for scheduling, and maintain accurate maintenance records while upholding 5S standards. Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Demonstrated ability to direct the work and train department operators.
• Forklift certified and safety compliant.
• Strong teamwork and oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Supervisor and Maintenance team to prioritize tasks and train operators in safe procedures.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and maintain records.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; coordinate with Supervisor for scheduling or external support.
• Coordinate vendor services and manage spare parts inventory per vendor recommendations.
• Process purchase orders for departmental and warehouse needs, including entry and pickup.
• Maintain 5S standards and ensure tools and supplies are organized and accessible.
