Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a dependable Part-Time Maintenance Technician for our 36-unit senior apartment community in Urbana, Ohio. Schedule: 20 hours/week, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM.

This role involves completing turns and maintenance tasks, using an iPad for work orders, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents. On-call duties 24/7 are required to respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of residential/apartment maintenance experience required.
• PTAC/HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
• Unit-turn experience preferred.
• Comfortable using an iPad and electronic work order system.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

What We're Looking For

• On‑Call Requirement: This position requires availability for on‑call duties 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
