Base pay range

$34.00/hr - $44.00/hr

Maintenance Technician (3-11:30PM) in Mendota IL

Location: Mendota IL

Industrial Manufacturing Company - Publicly Traded - Plastics Company!

Hourly Range: $34-$44hr (+ $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift)

2nd Shift Hours: 3PM-11:30PM (Monday - Friday)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our facility's equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and equipment maintenance, with a focus on maintaining high production standards and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all production equipment
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations
• Assist in the training of junior maintenance staff as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and techniques
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus
• Familiarity with motors and drives is preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on proficiency with tools and equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
