Responsibilities:
  1. Receive and complete maintenance requests in apartment units, common areas, or exterior of buildings. Repairs include but are not limited to painting, sheetrock, electrical, minor appliances, plumbing, furniture moving, and pest control.
  2. Coordinate with the community manager to prepare vacant units for re-rental.
  3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance for equipment and systems.
  4. Understand and monitor fire control, water, and other building systems to ensure proper functioning.
  5. Conduct grounds maintenance to maintain curb appeal.
  6. Perform janitorial duties inside and outside the property.
  7. Purchase supplies, equipment, or services needed for routine maintenance.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience in general maintenance across multiple locations.
  2. Ability to work with diverse populations in a residential setting.
  3. Strong customer service skills.
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  5. Ability to interpret custodial and maintenance manuals.
  6. Assess maintenance emergencies and respond appropriately.
  7. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle up to 20 feet.
  8. Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds.
