Job summary

National Vision is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Plano, TX to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support lab systems. The role involves servicing edgers, generators, and blockers, with a focus on safety and prompt issue resolution.

No specific education is required; candidates should have at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience and the ability to read and write English. The position offers pay, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

• 1 year previous experience in industrial maintenance (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)
• Must be able to read and write English

Responsibilities

• Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists
• Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time
• Servicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and Blockers
• Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating
• Identifying issues and performing repairs
• Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab
• Following all safety measures, Lock out / Tag out procedures and utilizing PPE if required
