Job summary

Johnson Service Group is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician for our client’s operation near Martinsburg, WV. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Shift schedule is day & night (2/2/3 12-hour) with a $34 per hour target and $1 per hour differential for night shifts. Direct hire opportunity with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification/trade schooling is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment and facility systems.
• Ensure safe and efficient plant operations with proactive maintenance.
• Read technical manuals and schematics to diagnose issues.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate findings with the team.
