Heartland Sheets, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners and corrugated manufacturing industry leader, currently has an exciting opportunity available for aMaintenance Technician in Kansas City, MO. As a Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot, install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on our industrial corrugated equipment and machinery.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

• Perform maintenance and electrical function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular PM’s.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical problems of plant machinery.
• Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve world‑class results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirements.
• Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned.
• Work within specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion, and minimizing waste within set dates & times.
• Other corrective and preventive maintenance duties to be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

HEARTLAND SHEETS REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Detail‑oriented, organized, and dependable with time management skills.
• Experience with Electrical and Mechanical Systems is a plus; computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software & network configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, working knowledge of PLC’s and motors.
• Knowledge of computer and automated machines.
• Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety.
• An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker who is dedicated to the job and team.
• The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team.
• High school diploma or GED.
