Job summary

The role requires hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing environment, adherence to quality and safety standards, and collaboration with the Technical Manager to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot machines and auxiliary equipment with emphasis on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Oil and grease all machines as required.
• Assist in maintenance shop organization and storage of tools.
• Fabricate parts to contain during production as needed.
• Maintain tops on machines per FDA guidelines/requirements.
• Address safety issues and follow SQF standards.
• Perform monthly PMs per the Preventive Maintenance program.
• Inform Technical Manager of supplies needed for maintenance items.
• Maintain facility including plumbing, basic electrical and mechanical.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Report discrepancies to Shift Supervisors or Management.
• Ensure quality of work performed.
• Travel as required.
• Be punctual at start times and after breaks.
• Follow Work Instructions and Work Orders.
• Clock in/out accurately and maintain proper ID traceability.
