Job summary

Fairfield Property Management is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team and provide excellent service to residents while keeping properties at high standards.

Responsibilities include general maintenance, responding to work orders, and handling carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks. The role also covers appliance repairs, HVAC units, painting, and grounds maintenance, with on-call requirements and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience on a residential property.
• HVAC Certification is required/preferred.
• Ability to work on-call and respond promptly to all calls.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Performs all general maintenance duties for the upkeep of the property.
• Responds to resident work orders.
• Performs carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Repairs appliances, heating and air conditioning units, ceiling fans, refrigerators, etc.
• Installs sheetrock.
• Paints vacant and occupied apartments.
• Maintains property grounds including pool, sidewalks, and buildings; removes trash and debris.
• Picks up parts and supplies as necessary.

• Ability to work on-call and respond promptly and appropriately to all calls.
• Ability to maintain reliable transportation, a current and valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.
