Job summary

Fairfield Property Management is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform general maintenance on residential properties, address resident requests promptly, and uphold our quality guidelines to ensure a premier living experience.

The role requires 1-3 years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and the ability to work on-call. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also needed to support on-site operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience on a residential property.
• HVAC Certification required.
• Ability to work on-call and respond promptly to calls.

Responsibilities

• Performs all general maintenance duties for the upkeep of the property.
• Responds to resident work orders.
• Performs carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Repairs appliances, heating and air conditioning units, ceiling fans, refrigerators, etc.
• Installs sheetrock.
• Paints vacant and occupied apartments.
• Maintains property grounds including pool maintenance and debris removal.
• Picks up parts and supplies as necessary.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification
• Ability to work on-call and respond promptly and appropriately to all calls.
• Ability to maintain reliable transportation, a current and valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.
