Job Description

We are currently seeking a Local 1 Helper A to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. The position is located in the Streeterville/Gold Coast region of downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Help monitor, maintain, and repair building-wide mechanical systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Assist with apartment turnover including painting, cleaning, and repairs
• Keep common areas clean and orderly
• Walk vacant units and common areas
• Help oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Must have reliable transportation to multiple buildings
