Job summary

National Beef Packing Company LLC in Liberal, Kansas is seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Technician role in our on-site facility. The position emphasizes mechanical work, equipment upkeep, and collaboration with management to keep production running smoothly.

Starting wage is $24.80 per hour with benefits including health coverage, paid vacation and holidays, and an employee meat purchase program.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions.
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems.
• Creating daily activity reports.

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Technician position should possess the following

The Following Experience Is Preferred But Not Required

• Ammonia/Refrigeration systems
• Electrical
• Food processing
• General knowledge of plant layout and production floor equipment and processes

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
