About the Property

Lexi Apartments’ convenient Blaine location near the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 109th Avenue offers numerous shopping, dining, and recreation options. Featuring 182 market-rate apartments ranging from studios to 2-bedrooms, Lexi provides a premier selection of finishes. Amenities include a coffee bar, club room, rooftop skylounge and skydeck, work-from-home spaces, a game room, fitness center, and more. The property is scheduled to welcome residents in Fall 2023.

As a Maintenance Technician, your role is vital in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their homes.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Perform general maintenance in multifamily apartment buildings, including occupied units.
• Handle repairs related to electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Participate in cleaning and painting during unit turnovers.
• Manage snow removal.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with Property Managers and Maintenance Managers.
• Participate in on-call duties, responding to emergency calls after hours and on weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of property maintenance experience, preferably in apartment maintenance.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Local market experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings for on-call duties.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb stairs, and work on ladders or scaffolding.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
