Full Time Maintenance Technician I – Wappingers Falls, NY

Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $21.00 - 24.35 per hour
Valid Driver’s License required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks related to basic lighting, plumbing and structure of the sites.
• Moves furniture or equipment and supplies around health center as directed.
• Maintains the outside areas of Sun River Health sites as needed including sidewalks and parking lots such as snow removal, etc.
• Coverage of after-hours emergencies.
• Perform basic rough carpentry and plumbing functions.
• Operate gas-powered equipment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical layouts (HVAC, plumbing) within Sun River Health sites.
• Responsible for fleet vehicle maintenance; this is limited to 1 staff member.
• Acts as the warden during Sun River Health codes.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma / GED.
• 2-4 years of related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
