Job summary

Sun River Health is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I at our Wappingers Falls, NY site. The role includes basic maintenance tasks across lighting, plumbing, and structure, with after-hours coverage and minor carpentry responsibilities.

A valid driver’s license and 2–4 years of related experience are required. The compensation ranges from $21.00 to $22.82 per hour, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible external applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum Work Experience: 2–4 years.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks related to lighting, plumbing and site structure.
• Moves furniture or equipment within the health center.
• Maintains exterior areas including sidewalks and parking lots (e.g., snow removal).
• Covers after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Performs basic rough carpentry and plumbing functions.
